Royal Caribbean Greece & Croatia Cruise
Day 1 – Departure from Venice, Italy.
Watch Murano glass being made or discover Venice’s secret passageways on a guided walking tour. Take a romantic gondola ride through this sensational city or indulge in a coffee or hot chocolate in fashionable Piazza San Marco. Wonder at the works of Titian, Tintoretto and Canaletto in Venice’s ornate museums and galleries, enjoy a Campari spritz or Aperol in a waterside bar or cool down with a heavenly gelato.
Day 2 – Split, Croatia.
Walk the narrow streets and imagine life in the 4th century AD at magnificent Diocletian’s Palace, an ancient palace built by the Roman emperor Diocletian that still forms half the old town of Split. Explore the buzzing bars, shops and restaurants that line the ancient walls, marvel at the town’s stunning coastal setting on a boat trip or scenic flight or splash in the gushing waterfalls in the Krka National Park.
Day 3 – At Sea.
Sit back, kick off your shoes and put your feet up during ‘at sea’ days, where you can chill in the bar, lounge by the pool or enjoy a relaxing beauty treatment in the spa. For simple pleasures, why not try a game of table tennis? Or if you’re feeling energetic, now’s the chance to explore all the amazing activities the ship has to offer, from spectacular, West-End-style entertainment to adrenalin-charged sports.
Day 4 – Athens, Greece.
Shop for souvenirs, jewellery, handicrafts and bric-a-brac in colourful Monastiraki Flea Market or explore the narrow streets, taverns and shops of the old Plaka district of Athens. Be impressed by the city’s majestic and awe-inspiring classical sites, including the Acropolis, the National Archaeological Museum and Roman Agora, and savour the delights of Greek cuisine in the chic cafes, bars and restaurants.
Day 5 – Katakolon, Greece.
Discover the fascinating site of the first Olympic Games in 776 BC. Pretty Katakolon is the gateway to ancient Olympia, one of Greece’s most important landmarks. Imagine the roar of 30,000 spectators as you tour this amazing site or see the artefacts in the archaeological museum. Watch the world go by on Katakolon’s seafront, savouring Greek specialities such as grilled octopus, feta cheese pies or fried calamari.
