Team Not Just Travel is fundraising for Mind

The Challenge

More than 50 of the Not Just Travel team will be trekking to the Lost City in Colombia on a mission to raise as much money for Mind as possible this October.

This is a grueling 5-day trek that will see everyone pushed to their limits as they make the 50km excursion including steep inclines, dense rainforest and a 1200 step summit to the Lost City.

For Not Just Travel co-founders Steve Witt and Paul Harrison, the trek has a special significance. Steve’s brother and business partner Robin was diagnosed with rapid onset frontal temporal dementia aphasia at only 42.

This very rare dementia means Robin, a father of two young children, not only has dementia but quickly lost the ability to communicate. Steve and the Not Just Travel Team are determined to raise awareness of this condition and raise as much money for charity Mind as possible. Visit our fundraising page and make a donation today!

What we are doing...

  • 50km Adventure

The trek will see the Not Just Travel team, together with franchisees from The Travel Franchise, trek 50km ‘Indiana Jones-style’ to the Lost City in Columbia.

  • Helping the local community

Explorers will be staying with local indigenous people and the money to pay for the trek goes straight to the local community.
