Travel Insurance

In light of the recent pandemic, very few policies include cover for COVID. However, ours does!

It's estimated that currently, 95% of holidaymakers don't have COVID cover. Don't let this be you. With everything we've seen over the past few months, it's more important than ever to make sure you have the cover that's right for you.

It's always important to ensure the cover included is suitable for you, and not everyone requires the same level.

Entry Requirements

Countries around the world are opening up at different stages and therefore have different restrictions and protocols in place. Some borders may be closed, whereas entry may be allowed in other places but you will have to follow local rules and restrictions, whether a negative PCR test is needed or quarantine on arrival.

The best place to check for this is on the government website where you can see what is required for you to travel to a certain country.

Returning to the UK

The UK Government has recently updated Public Health Information regulations.

In order to take steps to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

  • To protect your health and others', everyone must complete an online passenger locator form before arrival into the UK
  • You may be required to self-isolate for 14 days on arrival. Check the exempt countries list immediately before you travel as this list can change at short notice
  • It is a legal requirement to wear a face-covering on public transport in the UK

You cannot submit the form until 48 hours before your arrival time in the UK. When you arrive back into the UK, you will have to show your completed form at the border, either by printing a copy or showing it on your electronic device.

What tests do countries require for entry?

If you are travelling abroad then chances are you will be required to show proof of a negative COVID test within a certain time frame before you go.

Where to find COVID-19 PCR tests for travel

As travel becomes an option again, certain entry requirements are now in place to enter countries, with many requiring a negative PCR test. It is not advised to use the NHS tests, and you will need to arrange a test through a private firm.
